Article.

The first gun a lot of people thought of when semi-autos were banned. Laughing

at my club has one, they go for stupid prices these days, great range gun but not a good anything else gun. I'm left handed which is why I have the MARS rifle, but if I were right handed I'd have a K31 carbine, you have an opinion on those Steve?

They're okay, uses .308" bullets even though it is supposedly 7.5mm Prefer the No 4 though.

I was going to say it's easier to get .303 brass but I don't think it is these days, thinking about it you're probably better off with 7.5x55

I actually did get to fire the 1911 full size version that came before the K31, very good rifle. I see that AR buckland is gonna knock out a straight pull version of the Sig 510. How is a straight pull version of a gun that was originally roller delayed blowback gonna work (this is the 7.5 x 55 version also, not a 308 version). I've heard before that no one would touch or attempt a G3 version due to it being a bugger with extraction and the like, plus I know they're ammo fussy. Hell I've heard people with semi auto derived versions of the G3 (including HK's own rifles) that they practically chewed ammo steve. Do you think Bucklands extended charging handle is enough?

Also you are right, the last milspec 303 was from Pakistan and it hangfired. Look up Jolly green slug an Aussie using the ammo in a ligthgow smle. there is at least a second or two delay between trigger pull and firing, you even hear the click. Cheapest commerical 303 I think is westlander near huddersfield. He told me 62/100. But my dad's hand loading gives him 41/100. Also my dad has bought a Khales steel tube 4x32 for his no 4. He has a non-gunsmithing mount made by a gun in derbyshire from solid steel and it fits tight. I'll tell you how that goes.
