What a heap of BS. Not only is this assertion unprovable but watch the video, a witness testified that he heard the gunshots and that they sounded like they were fired by a Beretta 9mm. Laughing What a load of complete nonsense. How on Earth did that get into evidence?

The Beretta 9000S is a pretty obscure firearm, it's really awful, I tried one once back when they first came out and I couldn't believe Beretta had bothered.

The ammo looks like RUAG to me, so my guess is the gun was originally sold in Switzerland.

There is a bright side to this. The GCN don't believe in smuggling and would have us believe that all the handguns in criminal use started off as legal held guns. This gun wasn't in production in 96 so must have been sources from abroad and smuggled in.
