Why are you more competent if you are an NRA member?

We all need the pointless shooters competency cards to shoot on MoD ranges and they need to be renewed every year. How is it though that if you are an individual member of the NRA they last for four years? Are you safer and more competent for longer than other shooters purely by virtue of being an NRA member?

This was sorted several years ago and Affiliated Clubs can issue 4 year cards to their members on the same basis as the NRA.

All you have done is highlight the misunderstandings that can arise when you resurrect an old topic.

I have a four year card issued by my club. Still a useless and pointless bit of paper though.
