Excellent bit of whittling. Pity about l'armee de l'est!
Cheers

Realistic imitations are banned in Canada too, in fact the wording of the ban is so similar I wondered whether the Home Office based the prohibition in the VCR Act on it. The main difference is the exemption for airsoft skirmishers, which was added on in the UK.
Anyway, note his comment about if he was working in steel - I read a story years ago about the Finnish Police and in their evidence room they showed two SMGs that had been completely fabricated from scratch, an MP40 and a Thompson SMG. They were in the white and apparently a tool and die maker had spent forever making them before he was arrested. According to the story their forensic people had tested them and they worked. _________________ Steve.
