My question is whether the L31A1 ball round will be section 5, because it appears to be: "any ammunition for military use which consists in or incorporates a missile designed, on account of its having a jacket and hard-core, to penetrate armour plating, armour screening or body armour;"
So we won't be able to have it. It's got a longer bullet obviously because it is made out of steel.
Not that I've ever been terribly impressed with the regular RG ammo but the fact they're replacing all the tooling made it sound as though it could be good. I doubt it's as good as the M855A1 round though, which is also prohibited. _________________ Steve.
